Joe Casey
Joe’s aviation story began in 1990 with his first flight near Nacogdo- ches, TX in a Cessna 172. From lift- off, he knew he was hooked and that began a lifetime passion for flight. Along with being an FAA designated pilot examiner (DPE), he is also an ATP/CFI-AHMG and commercial
rotorcraft/glider pilot, seaplane pilot, and a recently retired UH-60/AH-64 PIC/Instructor/Examiner Pilot in the U.S. Army Reserves. But for the past 20 years, his passion has been the PA46, Socata TBM, Beechcraft King Air series, and those who fly these wonderful machines. He’s amassed more than 10,500 hours in these various airframes (15,000 hours total time) and believes them to be one of the finest flying machines available for the serious cross-country pilot with an eye for efficiency.
Whether providing initial/recurrent training in the PA46s, giving a check ride to someone moving up, flying an airplane to the other side of the world, giving tailwheel endorsements, or taking kids flying for the first time, he simply loves flying and the people who fly them.
