First and foremost, the Board, after reviewing the feed- back, costs and logistics from the 2020 LIVE virtual con- vention, recognized the minimal cost difference to achieve higher member participation. As a result, it was deter- mined early on this convention would be live-streamed for those unable to attend in person. Live-streaming allows the team to record the convention making session replays available for all attendees, fulfilling a routine member request. While Tik-Tok has possibly given the impression that streaming something online is trivial, a professional production requires specialized skills, equipment, and venue changes our media group has provided.
In addition, the Friday evening gala and action will feature several enhancements highlighted by Eaglemania.

With these and other enhancements introduced at
our 2021 convention, we intend to increase the value of your MMOPA membership while continuing to advance our mission and focus on our three pillars: safety, advo- cacy, and community. While those three MMOPA pillars may have a different priority to each member, our goal as MMOPA leadership is to be responsible to all three pillars. We intend to leverage the lessons learned and experiences gained through these convention enhancements else- where to reach a wider audience at other MMOPA spon- sored events.
