patients need our help with. As leaders, we must use our voices to remedy and provide a different kind of pre- scription for what ails our community. When I heard that tone-deaf question on my ski trip, it became my responsi- bility to call him out and use it as an educational and actionable moment. That’s often not easy, but it is our responsibility. I encourage you all to do the same.
Long haulers with COVID-19 infection require long term care and attention. This is similarly true for long haul victims of racism. The wounds and hurt may recur and get worse. Long term care and empathy is required to prevent relapses. •
