in conjunction with community partners to vaccinate
our high risk communities such as senior living facilities, shelters, adult foster care, mental health, substance use disorder, nursing homes, and church outreach for seniors. We are very proud of our work to maintain an equitable distribution of vaccine across Detroit!
I am hopeful that those of you who desire to receive the 2-dose vaccine series have done so. All providers in the City of Detroit are welcome to schedule an appointment at the TCF Center by calling 313-230-0505. Your health and wellness is very important!
The overall goal continues to focus on preventing cases, hospitalization and death from SARS-CoV-2. Encouraging double masking, sending positive samples for sequencing, continuing testing and vaccination will be key. Thank
you again for your dedication to the City of Detroit—it is an honor to serve alongside my colleagues, wonderful partners and mentors. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call or text me at 313- 580-8747 or email at najibah.rehman@detroitmi.gov.
Take care and stay safe in 2021. This is a critical time to keep pushing forward—we have a grasp on this right now.
