Allegan County Sheriff Captains
**This is a new unit as the Captains separated from Lieutenants and Sergeants Unit.
New five-year agreement expires Dec. 31, 2023. Wages:
32% above Top Deputy pay effective Jan. 1, 2018.
Wage reopeners effective 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
Fringe Benefits: $300 cash payment for participation annually in wellness
program for 2018 and 2019.
Retirement: Existing MERS 2.5 multiplier will bridge down to 2.0 multiplier for
all Defined Benefit members effective Dec. 1, 2019. Bargaining team: Chris Kuhn aided by POLC Rep. John Stidham.
Allegan County Sheriff Deputies
New five-year agreement expires Dec. 31, 2023. Wages:
7.5% effective Jan. 1, 2018.
2.5% effective July 1, 2018.
Wage reopeners effective 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
*New wage table adopted countywide with on scale raises negotiated each year for across the board wage increases.
Fringe Benefits: $300 cash payment annually for participation in wellness program for 2018 and 2019.

22% above Top Deputy pay effective Jan. 1, 2018 for Lieutenants. 12% above Top Deputy pay effective Jan. 1, 2018 for Sergeants. Wage reopeners effective 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
Fringe Benefits: $300 cash payment annually for participation in wellness program for 2018 and 2019.

Arenac County 9-1-1 Dispatchers
New two-year agreement expires Dec. 31, 2019. Wages:
Lump sum $300 payment effective Dec. 1, 2018.
Wage reopener effective Jan. 1, 2019.
Fringe Benefits: Training Officers will receive one additional hour of straight
time pay for every shift spent training a new Dispatcher. Shift premiums for afternoons and midnights increase by 20 cents per hour. Add “Immedi- ate Family Member” to the language which qualifies Funeral Leave to be granted.
inclement Weather Clause: If County offices are closed due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, Dispatchers will be paid 2-1/2 times their regular pay.

Barry County Sheriff Corrections Officers
New three-year agreement expires Dec. 31, 2020. Wages:
2% effective Jan. 1, 2018. 2% effective Jan. 1, 2019. 2% effective Jan. 1, 2020.
Dispute resolution: Establish legal counsel of Employer’s choice for disci- pline acts allegedly occurring during on duty work hours.

Barry County Sheriff Deputies
New three-year agreement expires Dec. 31, 2020. Wages:
2% effective Jan. 1, 2018. 2% effective Jan. 1, 2019. 2% effective Jan. 1, 2020.
Scheduling: When scheduled for 12-hour patrol shifts, Employees shall work a total of 84 hours versus 80 hours at straight time pay in a 14-day payroll period.

tuscola County Sheriff Command
New two-year agreement expires Dec. 31, 2020. Wages:
2% effective Jan. 1, 2018.
2% effective Jan. 1, 2019.
*$550 signing bonus effective Jan. 1, 2018.
Fringe Benefits: Addition of Good Friday as a paid Holiday.
inclement Weather Clause: If County offices are closed due to inclement

City of mancelona D.P.W.

.50 cents effective Jan. 1, 2018. .50 cents effective Jan. 1, 2019. .50 cents effective Jan. 1, 2020. .50 cents effective Jan. 1, 2021.
Fringe Benefits: Boot allowance increase from $100 to $200 annually. Cell phone stipend of $50 per month.
