annual event and a favorite among members. It is held the weekend before AirVenture at Oshkosh so members who plan on going to OSH don’t have far to travel.

Rhonda Tomlinson – Already a Lt. Governor for the North East region, Rhonda has kindly taken on the role as Acting Governor, while Governor Max Pineiro recovers from heart surgery. Although Acting Governor is a huge undertaking, Rhonda also planned and coordinated the successful Greenbrier and Bar Harbor Fly-ins.
International Volunteer Highlights
Carrie Woods – The “queen of the COPA AirVenture Dinner,” Carrie coordinates with the hotel for room selection and setup, plans the appetizers, dinner and bar, as well as obtains the raffle prizes – a tireless job of calling on aviation vendors and asking for donations. It has been said that, “Quite simply, there wouldn’t be an AirVenture Dinner without her.”
Dieter Kistler – The lead in setting up both the 2014 E12 European Migration to Dubrovnik, Croa- tia and the 2017 E15 Migration to Lake Constance, both great successes.
Chris Leontopou- los – Instrumental in setting up the 2016 E14 Migration to Ka- lamata, Greece.
Robert “Woody” Milroy – Responsible for setting up the CPPP event this year in Guernsey, and put a lot of work into organizing it.
Harald Bopp –Instrumental in developing the new CPPP courses for the GNS430 Entegra cockpit.
The ladies who volunteered from the Country Woman Club – These ladies worked their tails off to cater the CPPP held at Orange, Australia in October 2016.

Glen Grams – Co-hosted and helped plan a fly-in to Sweers Island; a remote fishing lodge located on a small island off the north coast of Australia. COPA members filled the capacity of 20 and enjoyed fishing, boats and nightly presentations of plays and karaoke. Glen also co-hosted the fly-in to Berkeley River Lodge.
