sent me a template set for my G2. If there are significant differences, simply note the changes with photos and notes and Jet Shades will custom fit them for you. Mine were so slight, I just used the standard set. Jet Shades is migrating to a dealer/installation network, so your favorite Cirrus repair shop can customize a set for your airplane.
I obtained the full set: windshield eyebrow panel, full cabin and the storage area skylight. Both the windshield
and the skylight are constructed of premium panels as standard, which block even more IR (infrared radiation) and UV rays and have a mirrored bluish exterior tint.
Installing them is simple. The skylight snaps in place easily with two slots for cooling, and I just leave that in place all the time. The windshield band uses both friction and optional Velcro strips. I found that the Velcro was necessary to hold it in place since our windshields are so wide. It was simple – just clean the windshield edge and apply the Velcro. I recommend a thorough cleaning with alcohol (which Jet Shades supplies) before installing the Velcro and letting the adhesive cure overnight – probably not necessary, but it always works well for me.

The clarity is better than I originally thought, and it keeps my Cirrus much cooler, which is especially helpful since I don't have air conditioning. Kevin told me to expect as least a 20-degree cooler cabin. So far that seems accurate.
My first flight was around San Diego, departing from my home airport, Montgomery (KMYF), along the coast, checking out the shades while viewing Catalina Island.
I then turned south, contacted Lindbergh tower (KSAN) and obtained a clearance through their airspace at 500 feet MSL. I flew along Point Loma, then North Island Naval Air Station (KNZY), where they gave me clearance
to fly along San Diego Harbor at 800 feet MSL. It was a
