What started as a discovery flight Rich Pickett took in graduate school has resulted in over 11,000 hours of flying nearly 400 aircraft representing over 100 models. Rich earned his CFI while a police detective in Boulder, Colorado, and was John and Martha King’s first employed instructor. Along with
a career in higher education, he acquired ratings in the L29, L39, CE500, CE510, CD525 and DA10, and founded Personal Wings,
Inc., an aviation management and mentoring company. Rich enjoys flying his Eclipse and SR22 all over.
