  Monkeypox
1356 confirmed cases have been diagnosed globally (as of 6/3). 45 cases have been diag- nosed in the US (as of 6/9). As of 6/10, Monkeypox cases have NOT been identified either in Michigan or in Washtenaw County. WCHD sent out epi-alert below on 5/24 to all providers who have enrolled in the county epi-alert system. Influenza
Influenza continues to actively circulate in Washtenaw County with both influenza A and influ- enza B being diagnosed. The highest incidence occurred in early May and now appears to be decreasing.
